Supply Chain & Quality Manager - Avionics, Communication, Navigation & Surveillance

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Supply Chain & Quality Manager (f/m) to join its Procurement Industrial Equipment & Systems organization in Toulouse, France. You will manage the overall performance of a supplier portfolio in avionics, communication, navigation and surveillance systems, acting as a supplier ambassador to secure on-time and on-quality deliveries to Airbus plants, final assembly lines and airline customers.

Key responsibilities

• Select and engage suppliers, evaluating design, industrial and quality change requests
• Secure supplier approvals and run control reviews in line with airworthiness authority rules
• Drive supplier industrial maturity and risk anticipation using APQP methodology and Quality Walls
• Support suppliers during new product introductions (A350F, A321XLR) and transfer of work packages
• Support internal, external and EASA regulatory audit activities

Required profile

• Engineering, manufacturing or a Master's degree in Purchasing & Supply Chain (or equivalent)
• Recognized experience in supply chain and quality, manufacturing engineering or operations
• Negotiation level in English and French, with regular business travel

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and core supply chain principles (APICS or equivalent)
• Communication, negotiation, stakeholder management and leadership skills
