Procurement Business Lead - Digital & Innovation

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Procurement Business Lead - Digital & Innovation to join its Materials & Parts Procurement (PM) department in Toulouse, France. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will shape, own and represent the PM organization's overarching Digital, Analytics and Process Strategy, bridging operational buying needs with digital capabilities. The role involves defining the roadmap, leading flagship process digitalization initiatives and acting as the main point of contact for PM in Airbus's digital governance bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Define, deploy and refine the long-term Digital, Analytics and Process Strategy for PM, and represent PM in Airbus's digital and transformation instances
• Ensure deployed digital tools fit operational buyers' needs and define metrics to measure adoption and ROI
• Lead the digitalization of a core, mission-critical dimensioning process across procurement organizations
• Drive a cross-functional initiative with the XBoM team to build a technical analytical environment around the aircraft product structure (Bill of Materials), define data quality and governance, and act as Business Owner for the target analytics solution
• Promote AI and advanced analytics use cases, build a digital and data network across the 200+ PM community, and mentor temporary staff and working students
• Supervise a developer apprentice building quick-win tools in Google Workspace (Google Apps Script), govern the resulting data, and partner with internal digital teams to deliver an enterprise-grade solution

Required profile

• Solid background in procurement operations
• Previous experience in aerostructures and/or raw materials strongly preferred
• Deep understanding of aircraft product structure, BOM management and procurement workflows
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Owner driving end-to-end process optimization
• Ability to define a functional strategy, set roadmap priorities and defend business cases in governance forums
• Strong communication and influence skills across buyers, senior management, IT partners and other stakeholders

Required skills

• Familiarity with agile prototyping environments such as Google Apps Script
• Experience turning tactical tools into robust enterprise digital solutions with internal digital partners
• Passion for process optimization, data analytics and practical AI applications
