Strategic Buyer - Communication Services (Events Solutions)

About the role

Airbus' General Procurement team is hiring a Strategic Buyer for its Communication and Travel Solutions team (PJCTT) in Toulouse. The buyer leads end-to-end strategic procurement for Events Solutions and related communication services across a transnational, multi-divisional scope, defining global sourcing strategies, negotiating frame contracts and leading cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, define and implement global sourcing frameworks and contractual setups for the Events and Communications portfolio
• Lead high-value negotiations and supplier selections, turning multi-site requirements into global decisions
• Manage the full lifecycle of complex procurement and frame contracts
• Use market research and data to optimise Total Cost of Ownership
• Contribute to commodity procurement strategies and make-or-buy policies
• Cultivate long-term supplier partnerships and manage portfolio risks while ensuring full compliance with procurement, safety and ethics standards

Required profile

• 5-10+ years of professional experience in strategic procurement, sourcing or complex commercial sales
• Proven track record in contract management, strategic sourcing and complex commercial negotiations
• Ability to adapt to different supplier ecosystems and digital transformation
• Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution and leadership of cross-functional teams
• Business fluency in English; French, German, Spanish or Portuguese is an advantage
