Strategic Account Manager - Animal Nutrition & Health

About the role

Lesaffre, a global player in yeasts and fermentation, is recruiting a Strategic Account Manager in Animal Nutrition & Health within its Phileo business unit. Reporting to the EMEAI Region and Nutritional Ingredient Development Director, you will build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic accounts with a high level of autonomy, covering the EMEAI region (Europe, Middle East, Africa and India) and potentially international contacts.

Key responsibilities

• Bring your expertise in animal nutrition and health and knowledge of the industry to strategic accounts.
• Act as the guardian of the relationship with strategic accounts, facilitating high-level exchanges and optimising interactions with all stakeholders.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of each account to coordinate internal and external resources.
• Develop and implement 3-5 year strategic plans with the accounts.
• Ensure alignment and communication between the accounts and Phileo teams (sales, marketing, R&D, etc.).
• Lead and conclude direct negotiations with the accounts if necessary.
• Ensure the satisfaction and loyalty of the accounts.

Required profile

• Solid expertise in animal nutrition and health and knowledge of the industry.
• Master's degree or engineering diploma (or equivalent).
• At least 10 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in key account management.
• Excellent negotiation and project management skills.
• Relational skills and indirect leadership.
• Entrepreneurial and solution-oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in English; proficiency in another language is a plus.
• Approximately 50% travel in France and internationally.
