Software Engineer – Performance Analytics

About the role

The 3P Player Performance team in Paris is looking for a Software Engineer who will turn rich streaming telemetry into actionable intelligence for engineers across Apple’s third‑party app ecosystem. You will bridge data science, performance analysis, and engineering to enable teams to assess the impact of their releases without relying on the perf team.

Key responsibilities

• Consume and extend existing data pipelines to surface performance signals.
• Design and build clean, user‑friendly web interfaces that present telemetry insights.
• Enable engineers to run and interpret A/B experiments on their own.
• Proactively identify data‑driven opportunities and guide teams toward a more analytical workflow.
• Collaborate with player engineering and data science to translate raw data into product decisions.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in data science methods such as statistics, A/B testing, regression detection, and performance analysis.
• Experience delivering production‑ready tools that are used by other engineers.
• Consultative mindset with the ability to anticipate needs and educate non‑expert users.
• Comfortable working across both Python and JavaScript/TypeScript stacks.
