Software Engineer

About the role

JD.com is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Joybuy backend team. You will help build and maintain high‑performance services that power a global e‑commerce platform, working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Joybuy backend systems with a focus on performance, availability, security, and scalability.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks, implementing monitoring, maintainability, and rollback capabilities.
• Research, adopt, and promote new technologies and methodologies.
• Explore integration opportunities between emerging technologies and global system architectures to enhance technical growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Java development and Spring Boot.
• Strong coding proficiency, commitment to clean code, and interest in open‑source projects.
• Proactive, fast learner, highly collaborative with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills in both Chinese and English.
