Software Engineer – Internal Tools

About the role

Electra is building the operating system that powers its fast‑charging network across Europe. As a Software Engineer on the Internal Tools team, you will create and maintain the shared technical foundations that enable every department to work more efficiently through reliable tools and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Own projects from idea to production, including scoping, building, shipping and iterating.
• Develop quick proof‑of‑concepts to validate ideas before investing in robust solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Ops, Finance, Sales and other teams to translate real‑world problems into simple, reliable tools.
• Write clean, pragmatic code for back‑end services, APIs and integrations.
• Jump into unfamiliar technologies (e.g., Go, SAP APIs, n8n workflows) as needed.
• Contribute to the platform foundations that will support future agentic automation.

• Hands‑on, scrappy mindset with a bias for action over perfection.
• Comfortable working with ambiguous specifications and iterating based on user feedback.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely with non‑technical stakeholders.
• Fast learner who can adapt to new stacks and domains quickly.
