Software Engineer – Internal Tools

About the role
Prelude is looking for a Software Engineer to own and develop internal tools that accelerate every team across the company. You will design AI‑powered automation and integrate existing platforms to create reliable, high‑impact software that removes friction for engineering, ops, sales, support and finance.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain internal applications used daily by multiple departments.
- Integrate and synchronize data between tools such as HubSpot, Linear, Plain and others.
- Develop AI‑driven workflows that automate repetitive processes like invoicing, reporting and fraud review.
- Collaborate directly with internal stakeholders to identify pain points and deliver functional solutions.
- Evaluate, prototype and integrate emerging AI technologies that enhance internal productivity.
Required profile
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently on high‑visibility projects.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a bias for action.
- Effective communication skills to work closely with cross‑functional teams.
