Simulation Product Engineer – Real‑Time Aircraft Modelling

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Simulation Product Engineer to join its Modelling and Simulation Department in Toulouse. You will work on real‑time simulation products that support the engineering community across aircraft programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and plan the evolution of simulation products based on customer needs.
• Schedule, cascade requirements and coordinate development of sub‑components such as simulation models, frameworks and electronic interfaces.
• Integrate and validate product updates from a multi‑system perspective to ensure performance and representativeness.
• Deliver new simulation products together with complete documentation and provide technical support to users.
• Propose innovative improvements and steer subcontracted or offshore activities.

Required profile

• Strong background in engineering or applied computer science.
• Experience troubleshooting software on Linux, using C and scripting languages.
• General understanding of aircraft systems (flight controls, autopilot, engines) and their interactions.
• Proven project‑management abilities and experience coordinating with multicultural stakeholders.
