Service Director, EMEA

About the role

Leica Microsystems is seeking an experienced Service Director for the EMEA region. The role will lead a large field service organization, driving profitable growth, customer satisfaction and high‑quality support for microscopy and imaging solutions across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of ~120 staff including Field Service Managers, Engineers, Customer Service Delivery and Service Contract Sales.
• Own the regional Service P&L, delivering revenue and profit targets while expanding service contracts and new equipment installations.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements, warranty repairs, demand service and refurbishment activities.
• Gather and act on customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.
• Apply Danaher Business Systems tools to operational processes and drive root‑cause problem solving.

Required profile

• Proven track record in leading large, multi‑disciplinary service organizations.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L and service revenue growth.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills across customers, dealers and internal functions.
• Ability to work remotely while coordinating activities across the EMEA region.
