Senior System Administrator – Remote‑First IT Support

About the role

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator to join a fast‑growing, remote‑first organisation based in France. The role supports a globally distributed workforce, ensuring the stability, security and efficiency of internal IT operations across multiple time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to internal employees worldwide, handling hardware, software, VPN, Citrix and access‑management issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and provisioning in Google Workspace and Active Directory.
• Configure, deploy and maintain Windows and macOS devices, including OS installation and device setup.
• Administer endpoint‑management and MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf or equivalents.
• Prioritise and resolve support tickets through Jira or other ITSM tools while meeting SLA targets.
• Maintain IT equipment inventory and oversee corporate hardware lifecycle.
• Support office hub operations, internal events and cross‑functional technical initiatives as needed.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to improve systems, user experience and service delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate IT support, system administration or related infrastructure roles.
• Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and Active Directory administration.
• Hands‑on experience with MDM and endpoint‑management tools (Intune, Jamf or similar).
• Proven ability to support both Windows and macOS environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, networking and remote‑access technologies.
• Experience with VPN solutions, Citrix and remote‑access tools.
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and service‑desk platforms such as Jira.
• Clear communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
