Senior Subsea Packages EPC Contract Engineer

About the role

VINCI Energies is looking for a Senior Subsea Packages EPC Contract Engineer based in La Défense, France. The role covers worldwide contract engineering and administration, including claims management, for subsea packages on designated offshore projects supported by the TGP entity. It involves extensive cross-functional management within TotalEnergies (TGP) and its external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Act as senior contract engineer for subsea packages on designated offshore projects: support contract and procurement activities, develop CFT packages (commercial structure, terms), launch CFT and manage qualification, exception review and negotiation, evaluate bids and recommend awards, and support preventive claim awareness.
• Help define and coordinate contract methods for the entity, coach contract engineers, ensure governance of the contract process and represent TGP in project reviews.
• Coordinate with the TGP legal entity and contribute to coherence between project, legal and business needs.
• Assist in claim management or counterclaims: review existing contracts and claims, investigate major disputes, help build claim dossiers and draft correspondence to contractors.
• Contribute to Contracts REX and lessons learned, archiving key learnings for each dossier.

Required profile

• Recent experience in CFT and administration of subsea contracts (minimum 10 years).
• Minimum 15 years in EPC contract engineering and administration for offshore projects.
• Fluent French and English, resident in France, starting 01/11/2025 for a 12-month assignment.

Required skills

• Expertise in claim management, contract preparation, CFT, negotiation and administration.
• Knowledge of project phases, including experience as package contract engineers.
• Ability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment and to influence across functions.
