Project Planner (ITER Fusion Project)

About the role

Amentum France, involved in major projects worldwide, is looking for motivated planners to support the delivery of the ITER Fusion Project in Saint Paul les Durance. ITER is described as the key experimental step between current fusion research machines and future fusion power plants. The role suits people who want to develop their technical skills in one of the leading engineering companies of the French nuclear sector.

Key responsibilities

• Estimate the work package in collaboration with the cost specialist.
• Track scope changes affecting the schedule, aligned with the configuration and change management system, identify detailed delay reasons and propose solutions.
• Measure progress to ensure accurate reporting and report physical progress to management teams.
• Develop and maintain the construction schedule (C-DWS).
• Collect updates from contractors and work site teams and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Required profile

• At least seven years of experience.
• Ability to express oneself in English.
• Experience in industrial projects (oil and gas, power, etc.) is welcome.
• Proven track record in scheduling complex industrial projects using Primavera P6.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and reporting skills for client-facing senior management.
