Senior Payroll Analyst (French Payroll, 12 Months)

About the role

Iron Mountain is seeking an analytical Senior Payroll Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract to join its Business Function team. The role brings French payroll capabilities under one roof, consolidating several legal entities into a unified, in-house payroll operation and raising the standard of the HR infrastructure for the regional workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Support the transition of outsourced payroll operations into a centralised in-house team, making sure end-to-end processes are fully documented for transparency and audit readiness.
• Work with Global Technology and HR teams to prepare for the move to a global outsourced payroll engine while keeping strong vendor relationships.
• Provide subject-matter expertise on French payroll legislation to resolve data discrepancies and ensure compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• Numerous years of experience managing French payroll in complex, matrix organisations.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Fluency in French and English, to support cross-functional teams across the EMEA region.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of French payroll legislation.
• Experience with payroll transformation or system integration projects.
• Stakeholder management and the ability to navigate complex payroll data to identify and resolve risks.
