Senior Internal Auditor – Export Control

About the role

Airbus is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor specialized in Export Control to join its Corporate Audit team in Toulouse. The role supports the company’s global compliance framework by evaluating export‑control risks across all business units.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audits on export‑control processes within Commercial Aircraft, Helicopters, Defence & Space and related corporate functions.
• Assess organisational set‑up, governance frameworks, and the design and effectiveness of controls.
• Provide evidence‑based findings and clear reports in English to senior management.
• Define audit scope and objectives in collaboration with the Head of the Centre of Competence.
• Monitor remediation actions and follow‑up on audit recommendations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in internal audit, preferably within export‑control or compliance environments.
• Strong understanding of international export‑control regulations and risk‑assessment methodologies.
• Proven ability to analyse complex organisational structures and governance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
