Senior Digital Product Designer - In-Store Checkout

About the role

Decathlon Digital is looking for a Senior Product Designer (IC3) to lead the design of its In-Store Checkout experience. The role sits within an omnichannel context, combining operational excellence with user needs so that store teammates can serve customers efficiently. You will join a cross-functional team (Product, Engineering, Business) and shape the future of the checkout, which covers friction, fluidity, autonomy, up-selling, authentication and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Influence and inform decisions on long-term strategy, quarterly roadmaps and day-to-day tactics
• Identify and tackle the most relevant opportunities
• Explore and de-risk solutions that are desirable, viable and feasible
• Build long-term outcomes rather than just features
• Work with product, business and engineering teams to shape the checkout experience

Required profile

• Holistic view of the Personal Buying Experience domain, including omnichannel journeys and ecosystems
• Ability to uncover opportunities through qualitative and/or quantitative research and to help prioritize product decisions with Opportunity Solution Trees
• Proactive collaboration with a wide range of experts and stakeholders (eCom, Business, Countries, Sports)
• Contributes to collaborative design sessions such as co-design and design critiques

Required skills

• Design usable interfaces aligned with the company's design system and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Testing solutions through usability tests, A/B tests and surveys
