Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

This senior position is focused on leading the transformation of CI/CD and automation practices for a technology‑driven organization based in France. You will work closely with engineers and stakeholders to define best practices, implement automation standards, and improve software delivery efficiency across multiple teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and standardise CI/CD pipelines to enhance delivery speed, reliability and scalability.
• Establish development workflows, branching strategies, quality gates and release management standards.
• Drive continuous integration and deployment initiatives, improving build validation, release automation and early defect detection.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) to create repeatable, consistent environments.
• Promote containerisation and modern deployment practices for better portability and operational efficiency.
• Assess current DevOps maturity and lead automation adoption initiatives.
• Integrate code quality, testing and validation tools into development workflows.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or related infrastructure roles.
• Proven track record of leading CI/CD transformation and scaling automation across organisations.
• Experience working in low‑maturity DevOps environments and driving standardisation.

Required skills

• CI/CD platforms (Git‑based pipelines, Jenkins or equivalent).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) tools and practices.
• Containerisation technologies.
• Git workflows, branching strategies, code review and merge governance.
• Automation and scripting for build, test and deployment processes.
