Senior Design Manager

About the role

Pennylane is looking for a Senior Design Manager to lead the Financial Services design team, raise experience quality, and drive high‑converting experiences that support acquisition and revenue goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of four Product Designers and a first‑time Design Manager.
• Set design direction for the Financial Services track and translate product priorities into an experience strategy.
• Raise the quality and consistency of customer experiences across the Financial Services journey while ensuring coherence with the broader SME product.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Marketing and other stakeholders to design experiences that support acquisition, activation, conversion and revenue goals.
• Represent Financial Services in cross‑functional Brand and Design System initiatives.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading product design teams in fast‑moving, complex product environments.
• Proven ability to coach individual contributors and first‑time design managers.
• Track record of improving usability, quality and coherence of end‑to‑end digital experiences.
• Understanding of how design impacts acquisition, activation, conversion and revenue, using qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Bilingual in French and English.
