Senior Associate – Secondaries

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join a fast‑growing secondaries platform at a leading alternative asset manager. The team focuses on GP‑led transactions and structured liquidity solutions for upper mid‑market assets, offering exposure to complex investment opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute GP‑led secondaries and LP portfolio transactions.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including LBO, valuation, cash‑flow and return analysis.
• Conduct asset‑level underwriting and commercial due diligence.
• Manage end‑to‑end transaction execution, coordinating diligence, preparing investment committee materials and overseeing closing processes.
• Engage directly with sponsors, management teams and advisors.
• Support portfolio monitoring and value‑creation initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall team development.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of experience in private equity, secondaries or investment banking.
• Strong financial modelling and transaction execution capabilities.
• Prior exposure to secondaries, GP‑led transactions or structured investment opportunities is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage workstreams independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong commercial judgement, analytical skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Financial modelling (LBO, valuation, cash‑flow analysis).

What we offer

• Base salary between €125,000 and €150,000.
• Target annual bonus up to 100 % of base salary.
