Senior Android Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to join a fast‑growing consumer product team that serves tens of millions of users worldwide. The role is fully remote, primarily based in Europe, and offers the chance to shape high‑impact features across chat, profiles, AI‑powered experiences, animations, onboarding, and overall mobile UX.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, and mobile teams.
• Make thoughtful UI/UX and product decisions independently.
• Prototype and iterate quickly on new consumer product experiences.
• Contribute to architecture, performance, and product quality.
• Develop highly interactive and visually polished mobile experiences.
• Help improve engineering velocity and development workflows.
• Participate in technical discussions and product planning.
• Maintain high engineering standards while moving fast.

Required profile

• Strong Android engineering experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Ability to ship quickly while maintaining product quality.
• Comfort operating autonomously with high ownership.
• Strong product intuition and independent decision‑making.
• Enjoyment of fast iteration cycles on consumer products.
• Clear communication and effective collaboration with designers and engineers.
• Pragmatic, curious, and execution‑oriented mindset.
• Thrives in small, high‑talent teams.
