Senior Accountant – Paris (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join a leading multinational organization in Paris. The role is hybrid, with two days per week in the office and the remainder remote. You will work closely with the European Financial Controller, handling day‑to‑day financial operations across multiple European entities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing processes for several European subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local GAAP and tax regulations, escalating issues when needed.
• Prepare accurate financial reports for Group Finance and support the Controller’s review.
• Manage the relationship with the Shared Service Center, overseeing transaction processing and meeting closing deadlines.
• Drive the forecasting process across Europe, consolidating inputs for financial planning discussions.
• Provide first‑level revenue and margin analysis for business performance reviews.
• Act as the primary operational liaison with Sales and Operations teams, handling queries and escalations.
• Deputize for the Controller, preparing briefing materials and ensuring continuity.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, audit or accounting within a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to work in a matrix organization and support senior stakeholders.
• Fluency in English; additional Italian or Spanish is a plus.
