Market Controlling Intern (6‑month Finance Internship)

About the role

Join Barilla’s Western Europe Finance team as a Market Controlling Intern for six months. You will work closely with the France and Western Europe Controlling Manager, supporting the Profit & Loss account and acting as a Business Partner to Marketing, Trade Marketing and Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor sales volumes, net sales and customer investments across France, Spain, Benelux and Portugal.
• Track marketing expenses and perform profitability analysis by customer and product.
• Support budgeting, budget reviews and monthly closures, and run business case simulations for innovation projects.
• Contribute to the implementation of new processes and tools.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Controlling, Business Administration or a related field.
• Energetic, committed and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proactive mindset with strong analytical abilities.
• Intermediate level of English or French for written and oral communication.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
