SAP BI HANA Technology Expert (m/f)

About the role

Airbus Defence and Space is seeking a SAP BI HANA Technology Expert (m/f) to join its international team in Toulouse, France. The role serves as the digital focal point and BI specialist for all reporting requirements, delivering end‑to‑end solutions that drive business outcomes and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary BI expert, ensuring service quality and user satisfaction for reporting needs.
• Develop and maintain SAP BW/4HANA solutions, collaborating with on‑shore and off‑shore Airbus colleagues.
• Define BI strategy and roadmap, leveraging state‑of‑the‑art technologies.
• Deliver projects on time, on quality, and on cost using agile or waterfall methodologies.
• Translate business requirements into digital solutions and integrate new tools into the existing landscape.
• Lead change‑management activities after deployment of new BI tools.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and gather requirements.
• Proactive, decision‑making attitude with strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under strict timescales within multidisciplinary, international teams.
• At least 5 years of experience in SAP BI environments.

Required skills

• SAP BW and deep experience with BW/4HANA development.
• ABAP programming (highly recommended).
• SAP BusinessObjects tools – Lumira, Analysis for Office, and BO administration.
• SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP BPC.
• Knowledge of UI5, Fiori, CDS and OData.
• Advanced English; additional European languages are a plus.
