Sales Manager – New Business (France)

About the role

We are looking for a pure “hunter” Sales Manager to drive new‑business growth for Amcor across France. The role focuses on acquiring fresh customers in the seafood, meat and broader food‑packaging sectors, with 80‑90 % of time spent on prospecting and converting accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and win new customer accounts throughout France, especially in the North Sea seafood corridor and food‑processing market.
• Execute structured prospecting activities such as cold outreach, warm leads, events and trade fairs.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and turn pilots into long‑term framework agreements.
• Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, volumes and contractual terms for new business.
• Coordinate with the France Sales Director to define clear territory and account ownership.
• Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance) to deliver competitive, customer‑aligned solutions.
• Maintain accurate CRM reporting, provide weekly pipeline updates and monthly forecasts to France leadership.
• Represent Amcor at key industry events and trade shows.

Required profile

• Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within food packaging, seafood or meat sectors.
• Strong hunter mindset with the ability to generate and close new business.
• Willingness to travel across France and manage a large, under‑penetrated territory.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
