Rotor Analysis Engineer (m/f)

About the role

Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Rotor Analysis Engineer to join the Rotors and Suspension Engineering department in Marignane. You will work on critical rotor components throughout their life cycle, supporting both new development and in‑service activities.

Key responsibilities

• Size and substantiate rotor and suspension parts using static and fatigue analyses (analytical, simulation, FEM, tests) to ensure safety margins and service life.
• Prepare, support and analyse ground and flight tests, collaborating with test labs and flight crews.
• Provide technical support for in‑service modifications, mechanical part deliveries, and incident investigations.
• Produce detailed documentation for internal/external customers and authorities, covering safety, performance, structural integrity and cost considerations.

Required profile

• 5‑year degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in mechanical part analysis.
• Strong team spirit, autonomy and rigor.
• Advanced proficiency in French and English.

Required skills

• Finite element modelling (HyperMesh, Samcef).
• Static and fatigue analysis methodologies.
• Experience with ground and flight test data interpretation.
