Retail Manager - Travel Retail, Northern Europe

About the role

Charlotte Tilbury Beauty is looking for an ambitious and experienced Retail Manager to join its newly appointed Travel Retail team, focusing on the Northern Europe region. This is a 12-month fixed-term position. The role covers building retailer relationships, identifying commercial opportunities, leading a field team of store-based business managers and retail artists, and managing the corresponding budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Define development and growth strategies with the Head of Travel Retail, Europe for the designated accounts and deliver sell-out in line with forecast commitments
• Build strong relationships with retailers, negotiate joint trading plans and act as the link between stores and the Magic Office
• Lead quarterly business reviews and half-year strategy meetings, and set sales targets for field teams
• Recruit retail teams for each store launch and lead the business managers and retail artists
• Work with marketing and VM teams to develop trade plans and launch new products and campaigns
• Forecast retail sales by store monthly and manage staffing costs, T&E budget and incentives
• Support operational excellence, including assortment, stock availability and price updates

Required profile

• Wider experience in retail or sales management; direct travel retail experience desirable but not mandatory
• Proven negotiation and influence track record, target-focused and results-driven
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, and strong written and verbal communication
• Excellent presentation and classroom delivery skills
• French language is mandatory
• Able to travel within the region and to the Magic Office regularly, roughly a 40/60 split
