Retail IT Domain Manager (CDI)

About the role

RIMOWA is looking for a Retail IT Domain Manager to lead the team responsible for the company’s Retail Information Systems, especially the CEGID Y2 POS solution. You will shape the roadmap, manage budgets, and ensure seamless delivery of retail technology projects across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain the Retail IT roadmap in collaboration with global business teams, aligning project scope with team capacity and cross‑domain dependencies.
• Lead a team of internal project managers, external tech leads, and L2 support staff; recruit, develop and retain the right talent.
• Own the Retail IT budget, monitor actuals, and prepare revisions together with business and IT partners.
• Allocate projects to managers, monitor progress, manage risks, and ensure POS stability, including incident handling and root‑cause analysis.
• Guarantee compliance with non‑functional requirements such as version updates, legal/tax rules, security and group standards.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in Retail IT, with at least 3‑4 years in a lead or domain‑management role.
• Strong knowledge of retail processes (sales, payments, after‑sales, stock, store operations).
• Proven ability to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent in French and professional English.
