About the role

The Transport Services Manager will join the Transport, Customs & Logistics (TC&L) department of Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse. Reporting to the France Transport Manager in Elancourt, the role oversees lower‑tier transport providers, ensures compliance, and drives continuous improvement across the transport chain.

Key responsibilities

• Manage local transport processes and keep related documentation up to date.
• Coordinate transport standards with Logistics, Customs, and Improvement & Performance teams.
• Handle transport non‑conformities, corrective actions and quality reviews.
• Collect and analyse transport demand, write operational specifications and support tender processes.
• Select, validate, integrate and monitor subcontractors, acting as operational reference and contract guarantor.
• Track key performance indicators, risk analyses and continuous‑improvement actions.
• Deploy visual management meetings (Lean Management) and benchmark best practices.
• Participate in transport organisation activities and maintain the transport action log.
• Travel within France, Europe and occasional global sites as required.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in transport operations, preferably with customs exposure.
• Strong knowledge of compliance requirements and customer expectations.
• Ability to obtain or be eligible for a security clearance.
