Regional Financial Controller

About the role

The Regional Financial Controller will act as the key link between the Head Office Finance Department and the network of local entities. You will ensure high‑quality, consistent financial reporting while supporting strategic initiatives such as M&A and internal projects.

Key responsibilities

• Control subsidiaries' financial performance, including audits, month‑end closings, consolidation and dividend processing.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment across the region.
• Lead Group finance projects and M&A transactions, driving communication and sharing best practices.
• Coordinate with Shared Service Centers (FiCOM and GBS) to align with target operating models and improve efficiency.
• Support Head Office treasury strategy by optimizing bank coverage and cash management.
• Serve as the interface with Head Office finance functions (accounting, tax, legal, treasury, Group financial control, IT accounting, exploitation systems, central controlling).
• Contribute to the animation of the finance network and continuous organizational improvement.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree (5‑6 years) in Finance from a Business or Engineering school, or at least 7 years of finance management experience.
• Experience in audit or transaction services is a plus.
• Background in shipping or logistics is an asset.
• High ethical standards, integrity and respect for confidentiality.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, planning and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, adapt quickly and communicate effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
