R&D Performance Management Specialist – EMEA & CIS

About the role

This position is responsible for governing the KPI system that supports technical product development across the EMEA and CIS regions. You will harmonise KPI definitions, design dashboards, and translate business needs into digital tools to improve field‑trial planning and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain harmonised KPI definitions, calculation methods and a binding reporting calendar for product development.
• Design and maintain dashboards and management reports, analyse performance variances and provide root‑cause analyses with actionable recommendations.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent metrics, data standards and reliable reporting across countries.
• Lead seasonal planning governance, ensure timely trial protocols and provide transparency on capacity and skill requirements.
• Translate business requirements into digital solutions, developing tools for planning, risk management and decision support.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in agricultural sciences, life sciences, data science, business informatics, decision analytics or a related field.
• At least ten years of experience in performance management, field‑trial data analysis, agricultural research or a comparable R&D environment.
• Excellent understanding of agronomic trial processes and data structures.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems pragmatically and work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate and Excel (VBA/macros, Power Pivot, advanced data modelling).
• Experience with specialised trial applications such as ARM, SPEAD, Tardis, PENALTI, DoQtor+ and multi‑trial analysis tools.
• Data‑completeness control tools and KPI governance expertise.
