Raw Material FSQR Specialist – Food Safety & Quality

About the role

The Raw Material FSQR Specialist will manage and coordinate food safety, quality, and regulatory activities for Cargill's Nantes site. Working closely with operations, supply chain, commercial teams and external partners, the specialist ensures compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and analyses of raw materials (grains, oilseeds, meals) using risk assessments and control plans.
• Lead compliance with regulatory, laboratory, food/feed safety and quality standards.
• Maintain and update local food safety procedures and programs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, assess and mitigate quality risks.
• Drive root‑cause analysis, continuous‑improvement initiatives and audit compliance.
• Oversee training development, delivery and scheduling; mentor team members.
• Manage certification audits such as Efisc‑GTP.
• Handle basic issues under supervision and escalate complex matters as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to work in an industrial change‑management environment.
• Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
