Purchasing Specialist for Supplies and Logistics

About the role

The Purchasing Specialist for Supplies and Logistics will be responsible for procuring services and materials for the Supplies & Logistics sectors across the Central Europe/Africa region. The role also supports the rollout of digital procurement solutions and the continuous improvement of processes in France.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate market prices and contracts in line with internal approval workflows.
• Prepare tenders, contracts and purchase orders, and monitor major contracts and orders.
• Support internal stakeholders during execution, including handling supplier disputes.
• Propose and manage supplier panels, assess supplier risks and monitor key suppliers.
• Source new and non‑listed indirect suppliers and integrate them into the procurement ecosystem.
• Apply global indirect sourcing & procurement strategy and relevant procedures.
• Participate in internal reviews and produce contractual documentation, tracking files, reports and meeting minutes.
• Organise meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong negotiation, legal and contract‑drafting abilities.
• Solid knowledge of procurement processes and project‑management capabilities.
• Fluent English with excellent interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills.
• Ability to work across departments, mobilise teams and drive results.
