Project Director – Data Center Construction

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Project Director to lead a €1.5 billion, five‑year data‑center construction programme in Paris. Reporting to senior client stakeholders, you will be accountable for delivering a fully integrated build safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and chair meetings with internal teams, design partners and the client.
• Drive the project audit plan, review weekly audits and ensure timely closure of findings.
• Communicate EHS alerts, lead safety campaigns and promote workforce participation.
• Oversee procurement, engineering deliverables and material take‑offs against subcontractor pricing.
• Monitor weekly progress with the project planner and implement corrective actions.
• Produce regular project reports and maintain clear documentation of specifications.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or recognised trade qualification.
• 10+ years experience managing large construction projects as a General Contractor.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural and architectural packages.
• Flexibility to adapt working patterns as required.
• Proven ability to lead teams through clear expectations, delegation and review.
