Offshore Structure Engineer (F/M)

About the role

Join Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore as an Offshore Structure Engineer, supporting the safety, performance and sustainability of floating offshore units. Based in La Défense, you will work within the Technical Department reviewing structural designs of offshore platforms, topsides and related equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate structural design compliance of new builds, conversions and modifications against applicable regulations.
• Perform verification calculations using internal and external software tools.
• Provide technical support for units in service, including damage assessment and remediation.
• Assist the international network of plan‑approval offices through training and support.
• Contribute to the development and validation of regulations and engineering tools.

Required profile

• Naval architect or structural engineer with solid knowledge of material strength.
• Proven experience in finite element analysis and structural verification.
• Strong analytical, synthesis and autonomous work capabilities.
• Fluent English for communication with clients and international teams.
• Willingness to travel occasionally abroad.
