Product Specialist - Cash Equity & Market Data

About the role

Euronext's Cash Equity & Data Services unit develops cash equity, ETFs and warrants trading markets across Europe, as well as index, real-time and value-added market data services. Euronext Paris is looking for a Product Analyst to join its Cash & Data Services Projects team, working closely with internal stakeholders and gaining insight into the exchange industry.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Cash Equity Products and Market Data teams to capture business needs, assess products and develop implementation proposals, including competitor benchmarking
• Own the relationship with the Euronext IT Market Services department for pre-studies and define complete, workable business requirements, turning business ideas into actionable IT projects
• Validate business requirements with internal stakeholders and propose alternative solutions where appropriate
• Write or review user guides, presentations and client-facing materials, and attend client presentations or working groups as needed
• Collaborate with Project Managers during project execution, representing the team in project meetings; can act as Project Manager on smaller projects with team support
• Carry out business intelligence on competitor initiatives and regulatory changes, presenting findings internally

Required profile

• Master's degree in engineering or from a top-tier business/engineering school
• 3 to 6 years of experience in financial services, with understanding of execution services and the asset management industry
• Strong interpersonal skills in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
• Proactive learner following emerging technologies and best practices
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); French fluency is a significant advantage

Required skills

• Familiarity with IT projects is a plus
• Understanding of exchanges and clearing houses is desirable but not mandatory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
