Procurement Team Manager (F/M)

About the role

Najar, a provider of AI-driven procurement software, is looking for a Procurement Manager in Paris to lead, coach and grow a team of 5 to 10 IT Procurement Partners serving its client portfolio. You will act as a player-coach, spending much of your time on the ground in complex client situations, while reporting directly to the VP Procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coach and develop the team: run regular 1-to-1s, set individual objectives, identify skill gaps and build development plans, and onboard new joiners.
• Stay hands-on with clients: join calls, unblock complex negotiations and take the lead when senior expertise is needed.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across the IT, SaaS and hardware client portfolio, and monitor workload and priorities.
• Turn recurring blockers into process improvements and help define best practices, playbooks and procurement standards.
• Drive strategic initiatives aligned with the Procurement department's OKRs and track team KPIs, reporting regularly to the VP.
• Collaborate with other Procurement Managers and relay field insights to Product, Sales and Leadership.

Required profile

• 4 to 7 years of experience in IT, SaaS or hardware procurement, strategic sourcing or procurement consulting.
• At least 1 to 2 years managing or structuring a team, with a genuine interest in people development.
• Comfortable working as a player-coach, leading by example and getting into the details of deals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior client contacts.
• Strong ownership mindset and fluent French and English.

Nice-to-have

• Experience in a fast-growing tech company or procurement outsourcing environment.
• Familiarity with AI-driven procurement tools and data-based decision-making.
• Experience managing a multi-category scope (IT/SaaS, hardware).
