Procurement Partner (F/M)

About the role

Najar, a procurement software company founded in 2021 and backed by a €15 million Series A, is hiring a Procurement Partner in Paris. You will optimize procurement operations, ensure cost-effective purchasing strategies and strengthen supplier relationships, working closely with Finance, IT and other stakeholders. The role covers several clients at once, from startups to large corporates, and involves advising CFOs, CIOs and procurement leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute IT purchasing strategies aligned with business needs, and optimize procurement workflows and supplier selection
• Negotiate contracts to secure cost-effectiveness and favorable terms
• Manage supplier relationships, benchmark vendors and ensure compliance with procurement policies and risk management
• Monitor IT spending, track procurement KPIs, identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain accurate procurement records
• Run several client strategies in parallel, share learnings with the team and give structured feedback to Product and Tech teams on new features and AI use cases

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing consulting or a negotiation-heavy role, ideally on IT / SaaS spend
• Strong negotiator comfortable with large software vendors and speaking with CFOs and CIOs
• Fluent in French and English
• Data-driven, able to back recommendations with numbers
• Comfortable switching between a 50-person startup and a large corporate, and interested in AI
