Procurement Manager – Data Centre Construction

About the role

As a member of the project management team for a data centre construction programme, you will lead procurement and contractual activities, ensuring compliance with Italian regulations and project requirements while supporting timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop procurement and contracting strategies for services and equipment.
• Conduct strategic sourcing, issue Invitation to Tender packages and manage the tender process.
• Design pricing mechanisms, perform cost‑benefit analysis and provide accurate cost forecasts.
• Prepare contract documents, negotiate terms and oversee contract award.
• Manage subcontracting arrangements, change control, variation management and commercial risk throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support business case development, stakeholder management and provide contract oversight.

Required profile

• Technical knowledge of procurement, cost, supply chain and commercial management, preferably both pre‑ and post‑contract.
• Experience in large‑scale construction projects; data‑centre experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English (French is a plus) and ability to work in a team.
• Eligible to work in France and willing to be mobile nationally.
