Procurement Manager – Avionics Systems Platforms & Connectivity

About the role

A strategic opportunity for a Procurement Manager in Avionics Systems Platforms & Connectivity has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will join the Equipment and Systems Procurement department, working at the crossroads of innovation and influencing future connectivity and autonomy of aircraft systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of contract portfolios with key aeronautical suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and procurement policies.
• Negotiate amendments and claims to secure optimal commercial and operational terms for Airbus.
• Contribute to sourcing activities, including calls for tenders and contract negotiations.
• Drive strategic supplier relationships, manage supply chain and commercial risks, and ensure alignment with Airbus standards.
• Ensure cross‑functional alignment with programs, engineering, supply chain, customer support, quality, finance and legal.

Required profile

• 5‑year degree in Business, Procurement or Engineering.
• Initial experience in procurement/buying with exposure to commercial contract and claims negotiations.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive, customer‑oriented and passionate about new technologies and aerospace innovation.
• Fluency in English (negotiation level); French is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience in software sourcing, avionics systems or complex equipment platform integration (strong plus).
