Procurement Manager – Avionics Cockpit Systems

About the role

A strategic opportunity for a Procurement Manager in Avionics Cockpit Systems has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse. You will work in the Equipment and Systems Procurement department, influencing the evolution of next‑generation cockpit connectivity and autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Organise procurement activities for multiple products, packages and suppliers across programmes.
• Lead sourcing, manage calls for tenders and negotiate contractual frameworks to obtain optimal purchasing conditions.
• Maintain supplier relationships and monitor contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance.
• Negotiate amendments and claims to secure the best commercial and operational terms for Airbus.
• Drive strategic supplier performance, manage supply‑chain and commercial risks, and ensure alignment with Airbus standards.
• Coordinate cross‑functional alignment with programmes, engineering, supply chain, customer support, quality, finance and legal.
• Contribute to long‑term cockpit system strategies and the procurement roadmap for the Next Generation Single Aisle programme.
• Participate in or lead negotiations for R&D projects, preparing the ground for future technology tenders.

Required profile

• 5‑year degree in Business, Procurement or Engineering.
• Significant procurement experience in the aeronautical environment with a proven track record in complex, high‑stakes negotiations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills, able to influence multi‑functional teams.
• Proactive, customer‑oriented and passionate about new technologies.
• Fluency in English (negotiation level); French is a plus.
