Procurement Contracts Manager – Space Systems

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Procurement Contracts Manager (m/f) to join our “Procurement Contracts department” in Toulouse dedicated to the Space Systems business line. Key responsibilities

• Act as the Procurement Contract Manager focal point for Space Systems business activities and programs.
• Support and drive Call for Tenders by assessing and approving contractual baselines, preparing negotiations and overseeing contract awards.
• Lead contract drafting and negotiations in close collaboration with the Procurement function and approve the Contract Validation Form.
• Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation of complex contracts, amendments, claims and settlement agreements.
• Provide contractual risk mitigation, expert analysis and advice during disputes, and support claim preparation and pre‑litigation matters.

Required profile

• Legal background or strong contractual knowledge.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in contract negotiation, with exposure to sales or procurement.
• Open‑minded, self‑motivated team player with a “can‑do” attitude.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Analytical, rigorous and able to explain complex contractual topics to diverse stakeholders.
