About the role

Are you curious about negotiations and contractual matters and want to influence Airbus’s procurement landscape? A vacancy has opened for a Procurement Contract Manager within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Blagnac (Toulouse Area).

Key responsibilities

  • Provide contractual expertise to buyers and commodity management during procurement agreement negotiations, sometimes leading negotiations directly with suppliers.
  • Support Call for Tenders by approving contractual baselines, assessing bid contracts, preparing negotiations and overseeing award processes.
  • Define contractual strategy and sourcing models for Airbus projects and advise internal stakeholders on contractual implications of supplier initiatives.
  • Draft ad‑hoc contractual documents with buyers and commodity management and approve documentation prior to final signature.
  • Analyse contracts throughout their life‑cycle, manage amendments, handle disputes, and address major events such as supplier insolvency.
  • Clarify contractual issues for claim preparation and pre‑litigation defence, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and Airbus requirements.
  • Identify key contractual risks for stakeholder review and contribute to the development of future contracting tools, templates and business models.
  • Develop and deliver training modules, coach colleagues and up‑skill procurement teams in contractual competence.

Required profile

  • Open‑minded, self‑motivated team player with a “Can‑Do” attitude.
  • Customer‑oriented with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Analytical and rigorous, able to explain complex topics to diverse stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic, balancing contractual and business risks while ensuring compliance.
  • Willing to travel occasionally for business purposes.
  • Legal background or proven contractual knowledge from previous experience.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
