Process Support Engineer – Dielectric Deposition Products

About the role

As a Process Support Engineer for Dielectric Deposition Products at Applied Materials, you will work closely with customers in the Grenoble area to ensure successful deployment and optimization of advanced semiconductor equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate early with R&D to position and evaluate new dielectric deposition products.
• Qualify processes after equipment installation, optimizing performance and total cost of ownership.
• Monitor customer technology evolution and partner with product groups to develop technical solutions.
• Work with Sales to propose and implement tailored solutions for customers.
• Support Service Teams by troubleshooting process deviations and providing training on process qualifications.
• Follow policies to protect intellectual property and adhere to security and quality standards.

Required profile

• Experience in the semiconductor industry with advanced production equipment.
• Knowledge of semiconductor integration.
• Master’s or PhD in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics or a related field, with professional experience and customer interaction.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites (approximately 25% of the time).

• Competitive salary range €56 000 – €77 000 per year.
