Principal Product Manager – Skywise Core (Airlines)

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy, offerability and commercial execution of the Skywise Core platform for airlines. In this senior role you will translate complex airline operational needs into a clear product roadmap and ensure seamless deal architecture for our global commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and synthesize customer and market feedback across the aviation ecosystem to define and prioritize solution roadmaps together with Portfolio Managers and Engineering teams.
• Manage product lifecycle continuity aligned with core platform updates such as Palantir Foundry, Skywise Ontology and proprietary components.
• Define, standardise and maintain standard Statements of Work and product offerability policies to enable efficient sales and contracting.
• Establish governance frameworks that determine when a deal moves from standard to custom or complex.
• Lead technical pre‑sales activities and Business Process Reviews for complex enterprise deals, scoping technical, functional and operational requirements.
• Assess and mitigate technical implementation risks throughout bidding, contracting and deployment phases.
• Partner with regional delivery teams on key customer milestones and act as a technical escalation point for L3 support.
• Promote the Skywise brand through whitepapers, industry conferences and thought‑leadership activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Aviation, Airline Management, Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics or AI, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the aviation industry defining or deploying digital enterprise solutions.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Big Data, Data Analytics, PaaS or AI solutions.
• Proven track record managing end‑to‑end digital product lifecycles in global, distributed team environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and strong stakeholder‑management abilities.
