People Operations Partner

About the role

Ankorstore is a B2B marketplace helping independent brands and retailers make wholesale simpler, faster and more profitable. As a People Operations Partner, you will be the backbone of the HR operations, mainly responsible for managing essential processes with a strong focus on payroll and compliance. You will also be the main point of contact for employees and managers, combining hands-on support with process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Payroll management: oversee end-to-end payroll for France and internationally, manage French payroll on Payfit and international payroll with payroll providers, and ensure quality through regular audits
• HR administration: manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, draft contracts and handle international visas, advise on employment law applications and manage mandatory tasks such as occupational health requirements and surveys
• Compensation and benefits: support salary review campaigns with data analysis and legal compliance, and manage health insurance and other benefits for French and international employees
• HRIS and data quality: administer the HRIS (Personio), ensure data integrity across platforms and manage relationships with software providers
• Transversal projects: contribute to company agreements, organisational changes and the continuous automation of HR processes

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in People Operations, with an HR education background
• Strong understanding of French labour law and compliance; international HR experience (Spain, Germany) is a plus
• Fluent French; written and spoken English proficiency is essential

Required skills

• Proven experience in French payroll (SYNTEC convention collective), specifically using Payfit
• Ability to manage complex Excel files, run audits and centralise multi-country data
• Pedagogical and communication skills, working with Finance and Legal teams
