Onboard Information System IVQ Engineer

About the role

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking an Onboard Information System IVQ Engineer to join its Connectivity and Data System department in Toulouse, France. You will work on the A350 and A380 programmes, integrating software applications that support maintenance, flight and cabin operations on board the aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the integration of applications on onboard platforms from definition through technical and functional integration.
• Collaborate closely with platform definition teams and external suppliers to ensure seamless application integration.
• Maintain platform maturity, improve performance and incorporate major evolutions to enable new functionalities.

Required profile

• Engineer with several years of proven experience in embedded systems.
• Familiar with application integration and resource allocation on aircraft platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Integration, Verification and Validation (IV&V) processes.
• Understanding of AISD and ACD‑IS domain platform characteristics and challenges.
• English at negotiation level.
