National Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a National Account Manager to lead and expand strategic retail partnerships for a well‑established toy brand across France. This permanent position will allow you to shape commercial strategy, influence growth, and build long‑term relationships with major retailers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with key retail partners throughout France.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet sales targets and business objectives.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, promotions, and annual trading terms.
• Analyse sales data, market trends, and customer performance to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure best‑in‑class customer support and execution.
• Monitor competitor activity and provide market insights to inform strategy.
• Establish forecasting and demand‑planning processes with retail partners.
• Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or National Account Manager in the toy industry or consumer goods sector.
• Strong network and existing relationships with major French retailers.
• Excellent negotiation and commercial management abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret sales and market data.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Based in France with willingness to travel as required.
