Manufacturing Engineer – 9‑Month Contract in Toulouse

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a 9‑month contract to support a capital‑expenditure project in Toulouse. The role focuses on equipment and automation support within a biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support manufacturing equipment such as bioreactors, depth filtration, centrifugation, chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration and related process support systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and automation issues and lead process equipment investigations.
• Act as engineering owner for specific manufacturing areas, acquiring deep knowledge of process operations and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality (cGDP/GMP) and EHS requirements.
• Support internal and external audits as the manufacturing engineering technical resource.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting manufacturing equipment in the biotechnology or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team with minimal supervision.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
