Managing Director – Natural Ingredients Industry

About the role

The company, a French SME specialized in high‑value natural ingredients, seeks a Managing Director to steer the next phase of growth. Reporting directly to shareholders, the MD will combine strategic vision with hands‑on operational leadership in a manufacturing‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for industrial performance, international expansion, and portfolio development.
• Lead the organization through transformation, strengthening operational excellence and profitability.
• Drive international business development and enhance customer proximity across personal care, cosmetics, health, and industrial markets.
• Support innovation initiatives and diversification of product offerings.
• Develop leadership capabilities, reinforce organizational structure, and act as primary interface with shareholders and governance bodies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as Managing Director, General Manager or Business Unit leader in specialty ingredients, cosmetics, healthcare, chemicals or related sectors.
• Strong exposure to international B2B industrial environments and complex manufacturing operations.
• Track record of leading transformation, scaling organizations, and delivering profitable growth.
• Strategic mindset paired with execution discipline and solid financial/operational understanding.
• Experience interacting with shareholders or investment environments is a plus.
