Logistics & Maintenance Assistant – Temporary (5 months) in Méribel

About the role

As a Logistics & Maintenance Assistant you will support the daily operations of a luxury ski resort in Méribel. Working on a 5‑month fixed‑term contract, you will handle guest luggage logistics, basic chalet repairs and stock management while ensuring the high service standards expected by the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily operational tasks assigned by the Management and Operations teams, including variable early‑morning and late‑evening shifts.
• Act as the point of contact for guest luggage handling and crate preparation.
• Perform basic maintenance such as changing bulbs, unclogging toilets, and stand in for the Maintenance Manager when needed.
• Coordinate with local suppliers for quotes, urgent repairs, and ensure proper access and closure of chalets after work.
• Conduct property checks, monitor firewood and cleaning supply stocks, and support snow‑clearing and seasonal chalet setup.
• Assist housekeeping with linen delivery and collection, support shopping runs, bakery deliveries, and transport of staff or items.
• Manage resort stores, oversee stock control, and purchase or restock items when authorised.

Required profile

• Reliable and flexible attitude with the ability to work variable shifts.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, colleagues and external suppliers.
• Physical capability to perform basic repairs and handle luggage.

Required skills

• Basic handyman skills (e.g., bulb replacement, minor plumbing).
• Experience with stock and inventory management.
• Familiarity with logistics handling and supplier coordination.
